Its high-output, liquid-cooled 85cc two-stroke engine is equipped with Yamaha’s competition-grade YPVS system for unmatched holeshot-winning acceleration. In addition, its adjustable suspensions have been designed to master the most demanding circuits.
The YZ85 also features a lightweight aluminum rear subframe and aluminum swingarm, large-diameter disc brakes and a high-efficiency intake, just like its bigger YZ125 sibling. For maximum control by the pilot it offers a flat seat, a narrow body and an ergonomic fuel tank.
